A quick update as Kiwanis Kingsway Humber, in partnership with our neighbourhood Staples Stores, is preparing student backpacks and school supplies to distribute to shelters and youth outreach programs. As we start this project, the photos show a part of the items that were purchased recently with the on-hands assistance of Staples Queensway Manager Susan and staff helping us locate great items at a reduced store price.

Visits to the other amazing Staples Stores will be completed shortly. Once filled with Staples’ supplies, arrangements for delivery of the backpacks will be made with community agencies who Kiwanis and Staples have been supporting for three years with this very important and much appreciated youth project. The backpacks and school supplies bring happiness to youngsters and financial relief to parents.
