Kiwanis Clubs of Greater Toronto are pleased to announce the formation of a new Club called “Kiwanis Club of the Village, Toronto.” This Club will be located in the Village area of Church and Wellesley and the surrounding area. The Motto of this Club is identical to the Motto of Kiwanis International: “Serving the Children of the World.”

We invite you to join a vibrant group of Volunteers who will raise funds and donate volunteer hours to help the LGBTQ2S+ youth of Toronto. Kiwanis in the GTA currently has 11 Clubs and over 300 members who, over the past 100 years, have built pools, libraries and playgrounds and donated time and funds to women’s shelters, food banks, school programs, Boys & Girls Clubs and the Toronto Kiwanis Festival.

Study after study shows that volunteering with an organization like Kiwanis does more than make people feel good. Volunteering enhances social networks, improves mental health and contributes to higher levels of happiness, self-esteem, self-worth and life satisfaction.
