In response to the crisis in Ukraine, members of the Kiwanis Kingsway Humber Club were able to gather much needed donations for shipping to the Ukraine.The donations were delivered to Father John Redmond High School.

The club gathered new baby, children, women and men’s clothing as well as hundreds of disposable paper plates, bowls and coffee cups which were needed to help provide food for the thousands depending on emergency kitchens on the border.

The club purchased dozens of cereal and energy bars, biscuits, chocolate rolls and tins of food as well as diarrhea medication, women’s hygiene packets, toothpaste and other urgently needed items. Friends of the club added dozens of packets of baby wipes, baby diapers and other support items for newborns.

The club will stay in touch with Father John Redmond High School and support the relief efforts for Ukraine as much as possible.
