Celebrating Mother’s Day, The Kiwanis Way

May 12, 2021 | 0 comments

Our Club is excited to be able to support 10 new mothers at Rosalie Hall on this Mother’s Day. Through the combined efforts of our President and club members, we were able to donate many greatly needed items. We would also like to thank Staples and everyone who donated to make this a success.

Each mom received a backpack containing medical masks and other useful items. There was also a big box of diapers and baby wipes for the new little ones. We were able to provide each lady with a $50.00 gift card to Shoppers’ Drug Mart for personnel items. We even sent our best wishes for a “Happy Mother’s Day” along with some Lindt chocolates.

Dave and Deirdre Barker, Pat Lawrance, and Mike Young did the honors and delivered our donations to Rosalie Hall. They were met by Crystal Rees who was surprised and excited to see our team and what they had brought. On behalf of the mothers and staff, Crystal expressed her sincere appreciation.

Through the generosity of our donors, we were also able to supply many required face masks to Rosalie Hall.

This project was a huge success! Well done everyone!
