This week, Mary Ellen Trimble, Lt Governor of the Kiwanis Clubs of the Greater Toronto Area, Pat Lawrance of the Kiwanis Club of East York presented a cheque to Vice Principal Laura Cameron of the Uxbridge High School and Shawn and Jordan at the Staples store of Uxbridge.
The money donated from the public will be donated through Kiwanis and Staples and shared with the High School and the Uxbridge food bank.
Kiwanis is looking out for kids in every corner of the globe with more than 550,000 volunteers who serve their communities through local clubs.
